City of Los Angeles Street Classification and Benchmarking System Study

“As one of the most prominent and memorable public spaces in every city, streets are fundamentally designed to serve people. Therefore at the request of the City of Los Angeles, in the last fiscal year (2009-2010), SCAG funded the “Street Classification and Benchmarking Study.” The research through this study provides the initial information necessary to start moving toward rethinking the paradigm on metrics for our streets performance.
