Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health Funding

California Convergence, an organization which acts as a network to connect California communities interested in improving the health of their districts, recently released a Special Opportunity Alerts pamphlet detailing ways in which community members can get involved in bettering the health of their neighborhoods. One of these alerts (#5, FOAs: Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health– REACH) encourages community members to propose ways in which REACH funding could reduce or eliminate health disparities among racial and ethnic groups in their communities. Letters of intent to receive some of the $32 million allocated towards this program are to be submitted on July 11 with applications due August 7 by 11:59 PM EST.
