Resource for Estimating the Environmental Health Impacts of SRTS Programs

The National Center for Safe Routes to School recently released a report which provides methods for estimating the environmental health impacts of local SRTS programs. The resource provides an overview of how SRTS programs and environmental health are linked, a formula for estimating the consequences of a program’s activities, and examples of how real life programs have estimated their environmental health impacts.
The document should serve as a resource to other SRTS programs to help them plan their own program management studies. Each program requires a unique combination of ideas and energies, and case studies offered in the report showcase several different approaches towards estimating and managing our environmental health impacts.
